YMCA Mendip and South Somerset are delighted to announce that a new project has been opened in Yeovil. P2i+ at Hillside House is a new venture that provides a welcoming and homely accommodation for young people aged 16 to 18 with intensive support.

FRIENDS OF FROME HOSPITAL 25th COMMUNITY DEFIBRILLATOR AT THE YMCA What was deemed as a black spot, in the Friends of Frome Hospital’s Community-wide Defibrillator Network, has now been rectified with the installation of a 25th publicly available defibrillator (PAD) at the YMCA Youth and Community Centre on Vallis Way. Frome.
‘C’ moved in to the YMCA on Tuesday 26th May 2015; and although being really happy at the prospect of moving in, the new environment proved quite stressful.
It is with sadness that we announce that from 1st November we have taken the decision to close Routes in Frome. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly, but with funding decreasing and the changing needs of young people accessing the project, it has become unsustainable to continue.
